Jennifer Hawkins has been Australia’s golden girl ever since she won the Miss Universe crown in 2004.
Since then, she has built a thriving career for herself that spans fashion, modelling, entertainment and business.
And from the golden girl, came the golden couple.
Jennifer and her now-husband Jake Wall were the fairytale romance that captivated the nation. From their picture-perfect wedding to their wholesome family, their love story is the stuff of dreams.
And now, they’re living a sweet, quiet life together with their two children.

Jennifer was 20 years old and on a night out in Newcastle when she first met Jake, a builder.
“It was one of those nights I didn’t intend on going out, and then I went out, and I met this guy, and slowly, we started a relationship,” Jennifer told Stellar in 2017.
In December 2011, after dating for seven years, Jake proposed to Jen with a $200,000 diamond ring.
Two years later, in 2013, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, celebrating with 60 of their closest family and friends.
“I just want everyone to have fun and that’s the joy of going overseas — it makes it special for everyone else, too,” she said in a chat with The Daily Telegraph in the lead-up to their big day.
Despite their fairytale wedding, Jennifer and Jake’s journey as a couple was far from perfect. They faced challenges with fertility, and it was later revealed that Jennifer had been dealing with endometriosis.
“As a woman and a type A personality, I’m used to planning everything. I think this will happen, then this will happen. It seemed like a lifetime, as month after month people constantly asked us when we were going to have a baby,” Jennifer told Stellar in 2019.

But in October 2019, Jennifer and Jake welcomed their first baby together, a girl named Frankie Violet.
“When she came out, I was just so overwhelmed; I was crying, it was incredible,” Jennifer said to Marie Claire the following year.
Less than two years later, Jennifer shared an Instagram post announcing that she was pregnant with baby number two. And this time, it was a boy.
“Round two!! Jake and I are so happy to share that we are expecting a baby BOY!!!” Jen wrote.
Three months later, Jennifer gave birth to their son, Hendrix Hawkins-Wall.

Aside from being partners in life, Jennifer and Jake are also partners in business. Together, they co-own the tequila brand Sesión Premium Tequila, as well as a design and construction business, J Group Projects. The couple are known for renovating homes, transforming them into luxurious spaces and selling them for impressive profits.
“Jake is like gold,” she gushed.
“It’s just a yin-and-yang thing and he’s my best friend. It’s never been like a business relationship, it’s just that we’ve ended up working together on certain projects, it’s more like we do life together and it is fun,” Jennifer told the Daily Telegraph in 2018.
In September 2025, the duo sold their Whale Beach investment property for a cool $30 million.
But aside from the impressive business endeavours, Jen and her family prioritise spending quality time and are often seen on vacation together.
They recently enjoyed their first snow trip together.

In May 2023, Jennifer shared a series of images from a family trip they took to Fiji. Another time, she captured footage from a camping getaway they did.
While Jake’s account is private, Jennifer frequently gives little glimpses into their family life and these meaningful moments away from the spotlight on her account.
We love to see that our favourite Aussie couple is still thriving.
