Travel Guides favourites Kevin and Janetta have spent nine years on our TV screens but the duo teased viewers can expect changes next season.
The beloved ‘travel snobs’ hinted the ninth season, which they are now filming, is “going to be a ripper with a few surprises”.
The revelation came as Kevin and Janetta took to Instagram to reflect on their almost decade on the show.

“As we’re in the process of filming the next season of Travel Guides, we thought we’d post some pics of our TG adventures over the last nine years. We’ll try to post something each week just to let you know we are still around. Might even slip in some of our non TG shots,” Kevin and Janetta penned.
They shared snaps from their travels through Cambodia, Fort Worth, Alice Springs, Uluṟu, Whitsundays, Fraser Island, Paris, Sydney Harbour, South Africa and Mexico.
The couple asked Travel Guides fans to guess their top and least favourite destinations of the lot.

Kevin and Janetta confirmed their favourite travel destination was in fact Paris while to nobody’s surprise their least favourite was camping.
“I think we slept in the car that night,” Janetta revealed to one follower in the comment section.
As for the surprises in store for the new season coming next year? Well, that’s still up for debate.
Kevin and Janetta didn’t give too much away, instead just teasing this: “It’s going to be ripper with a few surprises.”

While there’s much to be confirmed about the new season, including the destinations the cast will be jet-setting to, we do have some exciting news…
Travel Guides will be returning to Channel 9 and 9Now next year with the entire cast in tow – plus some new faces!
Celebrities and brand new faces are joining the new series of Travel Guides – including Married At First Sight brides Lucinda Light and Andrea Thompson, sisters Eliza and Liberty Paschke from The Block, mates Callum Hole and Mitch Hibberd from Love Island Australia and country music duo Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley are the familiar faces you’ll recognise.

It’s not just the celebs tagging along for the ride – best friends Tash and Meryl and Brisbane mums Nicky and Connie are also grabbing their passports and joining the fray.
Posts on The Boys’, Matt and Brett’s, Kevin and Janetta’s, Karly and Bri’s and The Fren’s social media suggest they’re all filming for Season 9 too, so of course all our familiar favourites will be back.
We can’t wait to find out where they head off to next!
